Meet Amye!

Hello, my name is Amye and I am a Registered Psychologist.

I have over ten years of experience working with adolescents, young people and their families and am passionate about the mental health and wellbeing of all young people.

I truly appreciate the challenges that can present during adolescence and young adulthood and feel it is a privilege to be invited to share in this journey with my clients.

I have extensive experience working with anxiety, mood disorders, management of relationships, self-esteem, study stress, grief and social difficulties.

My approach is client centred and strengths based. I love the work I do and opportunity to meet clients where they need to start. I acknowledge there is no one size fits all approach and enjoy individualising treatment goals and strategies to suit all clients I work with.

I would love to meet you so feel free to reach out with any questions or request a meet and greet.

Amye has over 10 years of experience working across both educational and private settings, supporting adolescents, young adults, families, and educators. Her work spans a wide range of developmental, behavioural, and emotional needs and has included a strong focus on supporting neurodiverse individuals.

She has extensive experience in psychological assessment, including cognitive, behavioural, and social-emotional functioning. Her assessments have been designed to provide a clear and comprehensive understanding of each individual’s strengths and areas of need, offering practical and personalised recommendations that support success across home, school, and community environments.

In addition to assessment, Amye has extensive experience providing targeted, evidence-based interventions to support emotional regulation, social skills, anxiety, learning strategies, and behavioural challenges. She works collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to ensure that support is consistent, practical, and meaningful.

Amye has a particular interest in working with high-achieving young people who are experiencing anxiety, perfectionism, or academic stress. She recognises the unique pressures faced by these individuals and supports them in building sustainable coping strategies, improving balance, and maintaining their wellbeing while pursuing their goals.

Amye has experience supporting individuals and families accessing services through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). She is committed to helping participants build skills, enhance daily functioning, and achieve their personal goals.
